At the infirmary
"I think she just fakes it most of the time--I'm a nurse, I
should know," Nurse Johnson says.
"And you think she could be involved in the mystery?"
"I do, yes. I also think she may have had something to do with
the way Chris was framed for starting that fire, but I don't know how.
Listen...I'm going to go to Della's room now to deliver some
medicine...she's claiming that her nerves are out of order...well,
mine are too because she's getting on them."
You giggle and then ask what Nurse Johnson would like for you to do.
"I need your help in investigating and questioning Della...you're
extremely smart and I know you can do that. Stay here until you hear
from me...I'll signal you by ringing a bell four times in a row."
"Got it," you say.
But ten minutes later, there has not been a signal. In fact, you hear
someone outside the infirmary say in a panicked voice that Nurse
Johnson has vanished.
You now...
You go with Nurse Johnson to the infirmary, where she tells you about
Della Drummond, a girl in the school who is perpetually sick--or
claims she is.
