Your father pulls a chair out for you as you sit down. Your mother
clears her throat. “This is Frazel.”, she says looking at the little
man. “We have some really bad news for you and your parents.”, Frazel
says. “You, they aren’t really your parents.”.
You stare gaping at this little man, who seemed like an elf, or a
gnome or something like that. Telling you, your parents weren’t
really your parents. “It’s true honey”, your mother says. “And, uhm,
your situation is rather strange.”, Frazel says, fidlling with his
fingers. “I want to talk to you alone in the next room.” Your
parents nod solemnly, urging you to go. You know it must be serious.
Frazel followed you into the den. “I suppose I better introduce myself
better. I am Frazel, assistant to Merlin, wizard to King Arther of the
round table.”, he says bowing. “Okay, so what’s going on?”.
“Well, first of all, you need to know a few things. First of all, have
you ever heard of realms?”, Frazel asks you. You nod, “slightly.”.
“Well, a realm is a point in time that is destined to repeat itslef
over and over again. So right now, in another realm, things are going
on that have already happened.”. “Uh-huh, so what’s your point?”, you
ask, afraid of the answer. “Every so often, a phenomenon happens
called a wurm hole. It’s where one realm opens up to another world,
and it’s like another door. And if something is in the way of the
door, then well it gets transported.”, Frazel said, a serious look on
his face. “It just so happens that a wurm hole opened up the instance
you were born, at the same time, in another realm of course, as
Princess Guinevere’s birth.”. You close your eyes, already knowing
what this little elf is going to say. “You see, your majesty, your
Guinevere.”.
As soon as Frazel says this, a girl appears, who looks exactly like
you. Except, she was dressed in a green dress, and had her hair down.
“This is Guinevere.”. Your mother opens the door. “Were so sorry
girls, but we just found out. And the Time Masters thought we should
switch you back right away.”. You run over and hug your mother.
“Goodbye, Guinevere.”. She pulls you away, and you realize, you are no
longer her little girl. You was no longer her child. You belong in
another time. Frazel takes your hand, and leads you through a wall.
“Come, your highness.”
You walk into the kitchen, and your parents are sitting around the
table. They look as if they were crying. Next to them was a man,
about the size of a boombox.
