"So you're the mighty Warrior of the Woods?"
"No, not yet, anyway," you say.
"Ah. I see. You're being tested. Let me guess, you're off to find
the golden rabbit?"
"Yes."
"Many a man has sought after the rabbit, but all have perished in
the attempt. Except for the true Warrior. They all want the great
power that comes with being the reincarnation. The Warrior can destroy
whole troops if he wants to. Hw will be almost immortal, and when he
dies, he will just be reborn again, so his legacy will continue
forever. This is a great honor."
"Why are you telling me this?" you ask the woman
skeptically.
"Just to let you know exactly how lucky you are."
The woman disappears. You venture deeper into the forest, pondering
over what she said. You think it would be really great to have that
much power. The idea grows and intensifies in your mind until you're
so eager to find the rabbit that you are almost obsessed with it.
Suddenly, you're in the deepest, darkest part of the woods. You can
hardly see anything, and it's noon! Then, a ray of sunlight breaks
through the tree branches, and there you see something bright and
gold. It's the rabbit!
You think, "I guess I should kill it."
You approach it, dagger unsheathed, but this nagging feeling at the
back of your head tells you not to kill it. You decide not to.
Then you hear a roar. Behind you is an enormous bear, about to kill
you and the rabbit.
You race through the woods. Suddenly, you see the same caped woman
you saw in your vision.
