Go East to the City of the Voices
You start to trudge East to the City of the Voices. Finally, you see a
wall with a big gate in the middle. You run up to wall, and then call
out "hello".
"Yes?" a voice calls.
"Is this the City of the Voices?"
"Yes, the one and only." The voice says back.
"Can I come in?"
"Yes, of course."
You jump back in suprise. the voice had come from right in front of
you, but nobody was there!
"What... Who... Who was?..."
"Well, why do you think it is called the City of the
Voices?"
"You... You're ghosts?" you say weakly.
Why, what a guess! Just wait, I will call our... Leader." The
Voice laughs wickedly and then runs off.
"The pen," a voice hisses behind you. You spin around. the
lizard is sitting there. "Use the pen."
You think. The lizard could be trying to help you. Or it could be a
trap.
