You groan. The man tricked you. "Darn! I should have known I
couldn't trust you!" The man pushes you back and tries to put the
slab into the indent. You pile onto him, and the stone falls out of
his hands. You pin him down to the floor easily. He's weak.
"Please!" The man cries. "I'll, I'll tell you
everything. That stone is a magical charm. A great sorcerrer
imprisoned his soul in these charms; each one resembled a certain
element and had a certain power. They were cast through different
dimentions. The wizard was cruel, and forced me to search for the
magical charms to revive my master. He didn't think I would. Before he
cast them away, I cast a spell on them, a spell that would bring the
stones to me instead of having to search for them. The old wizard
never found out..."
"You'll never revive that dark wizard! Tell me more." You
snarl like a wild dog. The man in glasses was only an illusionist, and
couldn't do any real magic.
"Okay! Okay!" He trembles. "The stone cast into your
world had the element of fire, causing it to burn whenever it got
close to me. It can bring you...bring you..." The man doesn't
continue, but throws you off and grabs the stone. "It can bring
you to any time period at any place!" He quickly puts it into the
ingraving, and the statue begins to shake! You let your guard down on
the illusionist, and now he overthrew you and took the stone! The dark
wizard would come to life again!
The pain of the heated ore is too great. You decide to give it to the
young man, and he takes it with pleasure. "I knew you would give
in. Fools like you always do!" He raises the flames higher, and
the fire draws closer to you. You don't hold back, and run through the
flames. To your suprise, you remain unharmed. The flames slowly
dissapear. It was an illusion!
