The beginning of a legend!
You stand shocked at this sudden developement. You're sad lonely
and confused. As you look back into the pool of water you see a
beautiful, but sad looking girl looking right back. Yes, you are
beautiful indeed, but who are you... and why do you have a sparkling
broad sword in your hand?? You sheath your sword and begin searching
around to find out just where you are.
As you look around you find that you are in a small town. The town
is apparently built in a desert by an oasis. You notice that the town
is suprisingly quiet, but the quietness is suddenly interupted by a
loud thumping sound. The ground trembles in perfect rythm with each
thump. As you peer out from around one of the buildings you see
several figures coming down the street. They are dressed in brown
armor and brown helmets. Behind them are two hulking metal machines
that stand at least 8 meters in heigth.
Suddenly one of the machines raises it arms and fires a beam of
red light down the street. The beam hits a small wood shack. The
shack explodes into flames and flaming pieces of wood fly everywhere.
The soldiers are only 20 meters away from you now and townspeople are
running from their houses in terror. A cry goes out as the machines
fire again and again. The soldiers cut down anyone in their way.
They walk by you without noticing you and you breath a sigh of relief.
Still you are interested in what they're doing and so you follow them
down the street till you come to a grand looking palace. As the
soldiers approach the building 5 men with short swords dressed in blue
tunics rush out and attack. The 10 soldiers dressed in brown cut them
down easily, however, and only one brown clad soldier falls. The
soldiers walk into the palace without further resistance. You
continue to follow silently.
