Chapter 7
" Good boy!" you say to it as you pet it. "
Grroow!" it growls in reply. You stand up, hitch up your pants
and place your hands on the Arcanine's back.
" I know you've never carried me before Arcanine," you say
to it," But we have to get out of here fast so nobody could find
us." You lift your leg up and straddle your Arcanine's back. He
shifts under your weight but stays still.
" Grrrow arrr arrrrg arroo?"( Translation: What do you think
I am? Rapidash??" Arcanine growls in suprise.
" Sorry Arcanine." you say to it." You're the only
Pokemon I have big enough to carry me!"
Satisfied, Arcanine starts bounding through the woods you on his back.
After a couple of minutes, you feel something shifting around in your
backpack.
" Stop, Arcanine." you say to your Pokemon. You take off
your backpack and find the fossil glowing and shaking in your
backpack. You drop it on the ground. It starts glowing brighter. Then
it starts getting bigger! You quickly slide off Arcanine and drop down
beside the fossil. The fossil is getting bigger and bigger! Then
suddenly it explodes showering you with dust and rock.
But there was some thing inside the fossil!!
" Aaeerrrroodactylll" that some thing screeches.
" Arghh" you yell covering your ears," Stop
that!!"
Then the Aerodactyl looks over at you and snaps it's jaws near your
head. You duck out of the way.
" Arcanine, use Flamethrower on the Aerodactyl!" you cry
out.
" Aaarcanine!!" it roars, sending flameballs at Aerodactyl.
" AAEERRODACTYL" it screeches louder that ever. It dives
toward Arcanine wings spread out.
" It's using Wing Attack," you cry out " Dodge it
Arcanine!"
" Arrrooo!" Arcanine bounds out of the way of Aerodactyl.
Aerodactyl whizzes through the bushes and lands on the ground.
" Use Takedown, Arcanine!" you shout." Now when it's on
the ground!. Arcanine bounds toward the Aerodactyl, and jumping up at
the last moment unleashes a great fireball that covers the Aerodactyl!
" Aerroo..dactyl" it screeches softly.
" Yes, you got him Arcanine!!" you yell, " Pokeball
go!" Your pokeball encloses the Aerodactyl and doesn't even
twitch. You run over to it and pick it up.
" Arcanine, you're the best!" you say," this is your
best battle yet!! You must be pretty proud of yourself huh, Arcanine?
Arcanine??"
" grrrrroooww" Arcanine snores sofltly slumped against a
tree, obviously tired. You watch him.
" You're tired huh?" you ask it," Well I'm tired
too!"
And with that you sit down and lean against your Arcanine. You quickly
fall into a deep sleep.
You don't have to wait long. Your Arcanine comes panting back to you
in about 2 minutes.
