The Gem Stone
Shari said, "There is hope for you...and me. I discovered a cure
for invisibility. It is a gem stone found only in Africa. It is
very, very rare and it usually costs a lot to find it. I have found a
way to reach it that is much cheaper. No one knows the way except
Madalene and Amber. We will leave tomorrow at first daylight. Is
this what you want?"
We left the next morning as Shari had said. When we reached the
shores of Africa, we were greeted by a man named Samson and a
teenager, named Carthian. They took us to the Tutoni Island by boat.
When we arrived, we saw things never seen before...rare things never
found in textbooks. The island was very large. The reason why it had
never been documented in textbooks was because only five Africans were
allow to step foot on the island. Two Chiefs who owned the island
gave their permission to Samson and Carthian to bring four other
visitors after they died. As we climbed one of the world's worst bat
caves filled with aggressive,blood-sucking bats, we remained silent so
that we wouldn't wake the bats. For if we did,we would surely be dead
in a matter of minutes. Luckily, we survived the cave. Suddenly,
Madelene heard a sound. A sound that none of us had ever heard
before. Whatever it was that made that sound jumped down from the
cave wall and stood before us. It appeared human-like, but could not
have been. It said words that were not to our understanding. Then,
three more appeared... and than all of a
sudden...!
