How to make a Diglet
really dirty, old garden gloves (the dirtier, the better, because it
shows a very experienced gardner)

Draw really cute faces on the fingers of the glove. You can draw one
on the thumb, too, just keep in mind the other diglets will always
tease him that he's fat (but he might be the best gardner of them
all). Whistle a merry tune into the glove to make them enthusiastic
about digging all day. Cut the fingers off, and let the Diglets plow
your island.
To make a Dugtrio, you could do the same thing, just make them in
groups of three and for some reason, it will only work if you draw
angry faces on them. I guess their really serious about working.
