CHAPTER 3:the reunion of a close friend
The Butterfree couple explained using their voices and with dance
moves in the air. It took a while for Ash to decipher their speech,
but with Pikachu's help, he got the whole story.
After leaving Ash, the two Butterfree had found the perfect island to
settle down on. It had lots of sunshine, flowers, and trees. They
lived there for a long time and had several children. The trouble
began when the kids evolved into Butterfree. The family was flying
together when a terrible hurricane hit. They called to each other as
the fierce winds swirled the Butterfree around so the family could
stay together. It didn't do a lot of good. The adult Butterfree
somehow stuck together, but all the children were lost. The adults
found their way back to where they first met and tried to start over
again, but they only got one child this time. They still felt really
sad to lose their children.
"Stay with us, guys. That might cheer you up," Ash
suggested. He had a feeling that really wouldn't work. He needed to
think of something to do.

ash,pikachu and butterfree walked/flyed on the
open cliffs.ash had been thinking back to the
first day he caught caterpie,when metapod evolved,
all the battles that they had won and lost together,trading butterfree
for raticate but not having the heart to keep raticate,all toward the
last day,when butterfree battled its last battle with pikachu and
left.
ash:.....
pikachu:......
butterfree:......(were those neccesary?)
ash:sigh....so what are you going to do now butterfree?
butterfree:freefreefree fweefwee!
translation:since i failed miserably at creating new butterfree,and
since i missed you so much....
butterfree:freeeeeefreeeeefweefweeeeeee!
translation:ive decided to come back to you!
ash:thats great!...but what about the pink butterfree?
butterfree(translated):she's been talking with misty,and she sid misty
could have her!besides...
that gives you a good excuse for her bike problem!
pikachu:hahahahahahahapikaha!
suddenly.....
Ash's Butterfree heard his old master's cry and flew down. "EEEEE
FWEEE!" he yelled. He flew around Ash's head, and the boy hugged
him.
"Oh, Butterfree, I'm so glad to see you again," Ash said. He
felt a flutter against his cheek. He looked to see the pink Butterfree
fluttering her wings against his cheek. It was the Butterfree kiss.
"Good to see you, too. So, what brings you two here?"
