"What is the rush?" you ask.
Edomiya turns to face you. "Adona, don't you remember? Oh--sorry,
I forgot--how could you? The fall--yes, I'm sorry," he says
quickly. "You are being hunted by the Enyd."
"The Enyd?" The name is vaguely familiar. You wait for
Edomiya to explain, though.
"The Enyd, yes, the Enyd! Curse the Enyd! The Enyd, the group of
humans who wish to kill certain elves who have certain powers. How can
I explain? But come, let me save your life!" Edomiya finishs
quickly. "Come with me, you will be safe only here. My home is
high up on top of the mountain, safer than any place I know of. But
let us make haste, lest you be found! It would be the death of me if
you were found!"
Will you trust him? Or should you not? He looks as if you could
believe him, but then--there IS that strange way about
him--unexplainable.
"Come, darling." Edomiya sounds impatient. You don't know if
he looks impatient, though, because you cannot see him. "This
way." He tugs sharply on your hand, so sharply that you nearly
fall over. "Hurry, Adona."
