Sometime after, the Force finally made its summons. She was working
in her garden, and she dropped her little shovel down a deep hole.
Rayna couldn't reach it, so she lifted it using the Force. Yet, as it
hovered in the air, she heard voices. She thought it was just another
dream, but it grew even more vivid in her minds eye.
A group of people were beating someone up. She cringed as their
victim cried out in pain and the strong language the attackers used.
"Stop, stop," she thought, but they would not stop. The
victim screamed, and Rayna saw his blood-stained face.
"Qui-Gon!"
Nobody heard her. Somehow, their strength must have overpowered his
Force. He was rather new at the art. He was screaming as they drug
him away, "Someone help! Help! RAYNA!!!!!!"
Rayna doubted he saw her; this may be a vision he was sending her.
She saw where they took them, and suddenly, she was no longer in her
garden. Her mind must have sent her to a safer part in her dream,
with none of these whatever-they-ares nearby. As she said before, her
mind thinks things and they come true.
"I'm coming for you, Qui-Gon!"
So, with no weapon in her hand, Rayna set out to save her
friend.
Rayna was left with a huge pain in her heart after her friend left,
but she tried not to let it bother her. She knew it would go away
some time or another, and she had more important things to do. Her
garden needed tending, and the Force will summon her one of these
days. Yoda has always told her to expect it, and she did everyday.
She had to be ready. Yet, no matter what she thought, she couldn't
help crying herself to sleep and thinking everyday about her dear
friend.
