The Kingdom of Elhoghican
It's June and you just arrived at your Aunt and Uncle's country house.
You just got settled in, and you decide to take a walk in the woods.
You wear your swimming suit under your clothes, because you know where
there in a lake you can swim in.
After a couple of hours of hiking you get to the lake. It is a glassy
blue, just like you remember. You go for a swim. After you get out,
you decide to take a small nap before you go back.
Later.....
When you wake up later, you are in a totally different world. It is
just bare earth. Nothing is growing and it is totally dark. All of a
sudden, a sweet music is heard in the dark at your right. It sounds
like a harp with a very good sound to it. Then, like a shower of
light, there are stars in the sky. The harp keeps playing. In fact,
it's getting louder. The sun comes up over the horizon. I splashes
the bare earth with light. Then you see who is playing the harp. On
a rock, not far from you, there is a very beautiful woman in rich,
velvety clothes with jewels and gold on her. On her head is a
magnificent crown, intricately carved out of silver. In it are
diamonds. Millions of them. As she sees you looking at her, she
smiles.
Uggh! What a summer vacation. You have to spend it with your Aunt
Edna and Uncle Harry. Yeah, they live in the country, but they are so
old! Your parents are going to the United States for the summer, and
you have to stay in Ireland. Oh well, at least you get to stay with
your aunt and uncle instead of your grandma and grandpa.
